Doug and I spent New Year’s Eve together. It was a fairly uneventful night.
Does anyone out there believe in the paranormal?
Every time I come to visit, odd things happen. Doug tells me it happens even when I’m not here.
The other night, I woke up in the wee hours of the morning, about 3am-ish. When I opened my eyes, there was a dark figure standing over the bed I was sleeping in. I thought it was possibly Doug, so I grabbed my phone and turned on the light. There was no one there.
While I was taking Doug to work that morning, he told me he woke up at about 3am-ish to scratching noises on the wall that separates the living room (where he had passed out) from my room.
And now, last night. I slept in my room again, but Doug again slept in the living room. He woke up to something lifting the ends of the coffee table. Disturbed by this, he went back into his room where he says he stayed awake for a couple hours. He said he fell back asleep but woke up to go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom, he heard someone knock on the front door 3 times. The bathroom is separated by a wall that has the foyer on the other side. The bathroom window looks right out just past the front porch. He said he immediately looked outside, no one was there. So, he went to the front door and looked out the peephole and no one was standing on the front porch. If someone had been playing a prank, he would have seen them running from the front door while he was looking out the bathroom window.
I’m a low end sensitive. I can sense presences but normally I don’t see the presence. The fact that I actually saw this presence the other night weirded me out quite a bit. The noises are increasing in intensity. And to be honest, I think Doug is actually scared of what’s been happening. I told him he should have woken me up to keep him company. I would have happily done that. No one should have to go through that alone. I’m gonna feel bad once I leave because I’ll be too far away to do much of anything useful.
